At Blulinc, we are at home in electric charging with our charging stations. But did you know that both as a business and as an individual, you can qualify for a tax deduction if you have an electric charging station installed. Thus, electric charging stations do become very interesting.
Some green cars tax deductible
Recently, Finance Minister Van Peteghem’s bill was approved. This should ensure a greening of mobility. For example, only carbon-emitting commercial vehicles will become tax deductible. In addition, both self-employed and individuals will be able to count on a number of tax incentives to purchase an electric charging station. And you needed additional reasons?
What as an individual?
You are more than likely an entrepreneur, yet we park this to the left for a moment. We will be happy to tell you all about the possibilities and no doubt your accountant will also be able to tell you a lot about it, but you are also an individual and you can also make a case here. If you choose a home charging station before Dec. 31, 2022, you will receive a 45% tax credit. This drops to 30% in 2023 and 15% in 2024. This for both owners and tenants. Note that the amount on which the tax credit is calculated is a maximum of 1,500 euros per taxpayer. So this is the maximum amount on which you can get a tax credit. Thus, as a business owner, it can also pay to install a charging station at home, especially if you also frequently work from home or leave from home to visit clients.
An additional condition, however, is that it must be an intelligent charging station, where charging time and power can be controlled. The charging station must also use only green electricity. No problem, because with our Blulinc charging stations, we have the perfect solution for you.
